Can I bring outside food into the Moran Theater?

No, outside food and beverages are prohibited at the Moran Theater in Jacksonville. However, there are a number of food stands located within the theater, serving up snacks for guests. There’s also alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on offer. If you require something more substantial, there are plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance of the venue. 

Along with food and drink, other prohibited items include large bags or backpacks, weapons or sharp objects, recording devices (unless permitted by the event), pets (except service animals), and smoking products.

Is there parking available at the Moran Theater, Jacksonville?

There are several parking garages and surface lots near the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts. There is also street parking available, however, this will be limited during high-traffic events. We’d recommend calling the venue ahead of time, as they’ll be able to assist you in securing a space. 

How early should I arrive for an event at the Moran Theater, Jacksonville?

There is no set time to arrive ahead of a show, however, it’s recommended that guests arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the event’s start time. This allows plenty of time for parking, security checks, and locating your seat. For high-scale events, you might want to arrive a little earlier to avoid the crowds. 

Are children allowed at the Moran Theater?

Everyone will need a ticket to enter. Age restrictions apply for specific events like adult comedy shows. The venue, however, does hold a range of family friendly events. Be sure to check the conditions of the show in question by contacting the box office at the Moran Theater.
